Jussi Grznar is a photographer based in Los Angeles, California.

Born in the former Czechoslovakia, his early connection to the mountains and the outdoors has shaped both his life and creative practice. His work is defined by a strong sense of place, an appreciation for natural light, and an unconventional approach to composition.

Working across advertising, editorial, and fine art, Jussi has spent the past two decades photographing people, landscapes, and the relationship between them. His work often explores scale, atmosphere, and the subtle interactions between the natural world and human presence.

Drawing inspiration from cinema, painting, and his own experiences, Jussi approaches photography with curiosity and a desire to create images that feel both considered and honest.

His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Lürzer's Archive, American Photography Awards, and Red Bull Illume.

Alongside his commercial practice, Jussi continues to pursue long-term personal projects, including Whistler, a black-and-white photographic study of winter in British Columbia's Coast Mountains.
